Vegas was bred at the internationally famous Stal Roelofs in the Netherlands from, great bloodlines of Voltaire, Joost, Abgar which has been such a backbone of European showjumping.

Stal Roelofs has produced stallions such as V.I.P., Rupert R., Rash R., and Vegas, formerly known as Velusinus R.
